De eerste: de kleuren natuurlijk. Het was een perfect patroon om allemaal restjes op te maken.
For one: the colours of course. The pattern was perfect for using up all leftovers.



De tweede: de Japanse versie heeft veel fijner garen gebruikt dan ik.
For two: the Japanse version is made of much thinner yarn than I used.


Hoe dan ook, ik vind hem leuk geworden. En het patroon was leuk genoeg om vaker te maken.

Anyway, I like the bag. And the pattern was nice enough to give it one more try.

Japanse sterretjes / Japanese stars

Ik was op zoek naar iets leuks en eenvoudigs tussendoor.
Ik heb onderhand een leuk bibliotheekje met patronen en ideetjes opgebouwd, dus het was vooral een kwestie van goed kiezen! En dan toch gewoon eindelijk maar iets uit zo'n mooi boek uit Japan ...


I was looking for something nice and easy to do in between creations.
I have collected a nice little library with patterns and ideas, so I only had to make a good choice! Why not finally start with a Japanese book?


Het zijn deze zeshoekjes geworden, ik noem ze maar Japanse sterretjes. In het boek wordt er een tas van gemaakt, leuk tassen maken, dus ik volg gewoon het patroon. De sterretjes worden al hakend aan elkaar gezet. Ze zijn niet ingewikkeld, klein en dus snel te maken. Heb er al 51!
Ik denk dat het een leuke opbergtas voor garen wordt!


I chose these hexagons, I like to call them Japanese stars. In the book they have made a bag out of it, nice, making another bag, so I just follow the pattern. The stars are joined together on the go. They are quite simple and small, so the Japanese star bag is progressing quickly. Already 51 stars!
Nice for yarn stash I guess.
