SIBOL

I just love the internet, it is such a fantastic source for all kinds of information. In the past year I have found so many special and fun patterns. And then I haven't mentioned yet all those inspiring blogs.

Surfing the internet I encountered SIBOL, 'Sunshine International Blankets Of Love' (see link at the right).
Sue collects crocheted and knitted squares to join them to nice sunny blankets for the elderly. The more squares the better, so if you wanna join ...

Sometime ago I wrote that I like to try out new patterns. And SIBOL is a nice goal for it I guess!
What I have in mind, I just wanna bring it into practice. So, despite of the ponchos in progress, I made 6 squares and sent them to Sue.
On May 6th I wrote a guestblog about it on the SIBOL-blog.

Picture with 4 (on top):
Clockwise, starting upper left:
• wisteria (Jan Eaton)
• granny square (I just love making granny squares)
• four patch granny (Jan Eaton)
• a simple solid square (also used for for example the babette blanket)
